What our clients are saying

Pershawn Mattison

“Partnering with Paula and Alfred Johnson was one of the best decisions I could have made as a ministry leader. They are professional yet personable, transparent, and relatable. When working with the Johnson’s, you can expect strategies to enhance your relationships and complete support in developing ministry plans. They are dedicated to the work they have been called to do for such a time as this. I consider the Johnsons as family and thank them for their guidance and support over the years in ministry.”

“Today’s challenges can surprise and overwhelm us no matter how prepared we feel! On Point Coaching is a consulting ministry offering dynamic solutions within the framework of your own life experiences.   Elder Al and Paula Johnson bring together the wisdom of 65 years of pastoral and executive leadership! They will create opportunities for you to gain new perspectives, learn new skills and develop personal success in your journey to life-long learning.”

Debra Brill, Vice President of the North America Division of Seventh-day Adventist, her testimony was given on June 23,2022 (1952-2023)

For the last half-century, I have had a front-row seat on the Al and Paula Johnson real-life symposium on Ministry and Family.  I literally learned how to make an effective sermonic appeal from Al, and watching them both taught me how to authentically mingle with church members as a congregational leader. Without forethought or design, they allowed me to see that both Family and Ministry could be accomplished with joy and contentment.

But they are best known for their greatest of accomplishments: their Family. It has been said that “you can’t fake good children”, and Al and Paula have raised 4 exemplary, talented children. The mere fact that all 4 of their children have found their way into some avenue of ministering within the Church suggests that there was some genuine practicing of that which was preached in the Johnson household. And there was; because I saw it.

With authenticity, sincerity and grace (I’m looking at you, Paula), this couple has much to share. I was fortunate enough to catch it early; now it’s your turn!
